SHIRLEY DERRICK

Our Director, Shirley Derrick, has 9 years of experience in the barbershop community. She has always been an active member on our Management Team and has served as Team Coordinator and a member of the Music Team.

Shirley remembers her first exposure to singing when her dad took her to choir practice at their church beginning when she was 5 years old. She has loved singing every since and joined Sweet Adelines after attending a guest night. She has sung lead in two quartets.

In her personal life she is a wife, mother and grandmother. In her professional life she is a Registered Nurse and currently works as a Human Resource Generalist for Altru Health System.
